Medilingua is a EU Project in the field of Transfer of Innovation in collaboration with partners from Poland, Germany, the UK, Bulgaria and Portugal. It is aimed at equipping paramedics with professional language knowledge that will allow them to communicate effectively with foreign patients and potentially work outside of their home countries.
Medilingua’s final Dissemination Conference was held on 20th of November 2015 in Rzeszow, Poland. The event “TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION TRANSFER FOR EMERGENCY MEDICINE IN EUROPE” was organized by the University of Rzeszów as one of Medlingua’s partners. Over 200 participants attended and were introduced to the project outcomes, including the courses, podcasting technologies, the Medilingua platform, and the positive outcomes from the project’s testing results.
Following our intensive testing phase phase and after conducting three workshops, during which we collected in-depth and constructive feedback from emergency medical services personnel, we completed and adapted the six didactic for our special English online course for rescue services personnel in late October. You can now improve your B1 level English with us for free and learn specific medical terms. You can find out your current language level for free by using our online language test.
