a) Skilled workers:
Employment in Germany under the Support Programme
The programme aims at unemployed skilled workers from Europe who would like to take up employment in so-called bottleneck occupations, i.e. occupations where there are not enough applicants.
Benefits
• Funding of a German language course.
• Travel allowance for the journey to the job interview in Germany.
• Lump sum for moving expenses to start employment in Germany.
• Accommodation of costs for acceptance procedures for regulated shortage occupations.
• Funding of a part-time and job-related German language course or a full-time language course in Germany, in particular for health occupations.
Requirements
In order to be eligible for support through the programme you have to meet certain requirements.
• You are an EU citizen with the right to freedom of movement for workers in the EU.
• You are between 18 and 35 years of age at the time of application (in well-founded exceptions, e.g. in health occupations, up to 40 years of age).
• You are unemployed in your home country.
• You would like to take up employment in a bottleneck occupation in Germany.
b) VET applicants
Vocational Training in Germany under the Support Programme.
The programme is for vocational training positions with vacancies.

If you have already found a concrete vocational training offer in Germany you can contact us directly. Once the training company and you have reached an agreement for the first interview, you can start enjoying the programme.
In Germany, you do not just sit down and study at school. You can put what you have learnt into practice in a company right away, have a peek at the work of experts and continually improve your own skills. And the best part: you receive vocational training pay.
The programme offers you: Language courses, comprehensive advice and supervision, an internship in a company and financial support. In addition, you will always have a contact person who will assist you with occupational or personal questions and bring you into contact with others from your home country.
You can enter the programme with any school qualification. Find your dream job and enjoy the best kind of vocational training you can imagine. Of course, we hope that you will stay on and apply your expertise in Germany. But with your practical and specialised training you will also find a job in your home country, in Europe or world-wide.
Criteria for eligibility for support:
• You are between 18 and 35 years of age.
• You are from an EU member state, an EEA country or Switzerland, and you have the right to freedom of movement for workers in the EU.
• You have not yet finished any other in-company vocational training.
• You are able to organise your everyday life yourself.
• You have an open mind, you are adaptable, and you are interested in Germany and its people.
• You have successfully graduated from school in your home country.
• Basic knowledge of German is an advantage but not necessary.
