Running time: January 2011 to December 2012
English learning game "The Chili Phantom"
IVETAGR is a project that is supported financially by the National Agency of Hungary. The Spanish company Ciberespacio has already implemented an innovative technique for professional adult education in other EU countries. These new methods are all based on the methodology of computer games. With help of a puppetmaster, avatars, a fantasy story line, group education and competition it is possible to present professional learning content in a completely new and engaging way.
The IVETAGR project will use this new concept for professional education and transfer it to the education of disabled youth in Hungary. Qualified teachers and instructors from the Motivacio Foundation will learn how to teach with the help of a game concept based on social media. Teachers and students will play games, complete exercises, and learn while using Google Maps, Facebook, Youtube, Xing and various other platforms.
For this project Iberika has created a learning game for English based on using social media. This was new territory for us and we learned a lot. If you have any questions about the project or the language game please contact: projects@iberika.de
