The Chili Phantom Game
Welcome
to the Chili
Phantom Game! The Chili Phantom game takes you on an adventure through
all of Europe and lets you investigate a mysterious criminal
case. The game was developed within the framework of the Leonardo TOI project
“IVETAGR” by language teachers from our school. It is based on an entirely new
educational concept, where the student plays a game that incorporates the use
of social media and, while playing, learns English.
The Chili Phantom game covers the entire European language level A1. However, instead of the students learning the language through standard grammar exercises or demanding course units, here they learn online and through playing a game. For those who are interested in the methodological concept of the game, you can find a PDF document on this website that contains more detailed information.
The game is directed by a
puppet master, who provides the players with new information, exercises
and
solutions. For each chapter, you can find a Guidebook in English
and Hungarian that
contains all the information, exercises, links and answers for the game.
This
guidebook is all the puppet master needs to instruct and guide the
players. When worksheets
or reviews are mentioned in the Guidebook that the players need to
complete, these can
likewise be found here. All other exercises take
place online e.g. on Facebook, Youtube, Google Maps. If you are not
familiar with social media, please read the Introduction.
In Section One, which you can play here, the game takes you on a journey from Budapest to Berlin and finishes up in Vienna. We hope you have fun learning English and searching for the mysterious Chili Phantom.

Európát! A játékot iskolánk tanárai fejlesztették ki az IVETAGR Projekt
Leonardo TOI keretében. A játék egy teljesen új oktatási metóduson alapszik: a
nyelvtanulók egy közösségi oldalakra kitalált játékot játszanak, miközben
angolul tanulnak.
A Chili Fantom Játék magában foglal minden olyan tudnivalót, melyet az angol nyelv A1 szintjéhez el kell sajátítani. A játékosok száraz grammatikai feladatok és meger?ltet? foglalkozások nélkül, játszva, online tanulják a nyelvet. A játék metodikai koncepciója iránt érdekl?d?k ezen az oldalon találnak egy PDF dokumentumot, melyek további információkat tartalmaznak (Methodology_Language Game).
A játékot egy játékvezet? irányítja, aki feladatokkal, információkkal és megoldásokkal látja el a játékosokat. Ennek az oldalnak a végén találtok egy magyar nyelv? Útmutatót, mely tartalmazza az összes információt, feladatot, linket és megoldást, melyekre a játékvezet?nek a játék irányításához szüksége van (Útmutató, Els? fejezet). Az Útmutatóban megemlített feladatlapok, melyeket a játékosoknak kell megoldaniuk, szintén itt találhatók. Minden más feladat online található meg: a Facebookon, Youtube-on és a Google térképen.
